Corrections, disputes and removals for your listing

Compare A Broker Directory is an independent review-scored directory of mortgage brokers on the Gold Coast. We build listings from publicly available information and calculate scores using a fixed rubric applied consistently to every business. All public Google reviews are assessed by the same criteria. Being listed here is free, and payment never affects your score or ranking. This page explains how to correct factual errors, dispute a score, or request removal of your listing. Fixing factual information

We keep factual fields accurate: business name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, and services offered. When you tell us a field is wrong, we ask you to provide the correct value and something that verifies it, such as your website or your Google Business Profile. Once we confirm the correction, it stays in place through future data refreshes, so you will not see it roll back.

Challenging your score

Scores are never edited by hand. A dispute means you believe the underlying data is incorrect: for example, your profile was matched to the wrong business, reviews were attributed to you when they belong elsewhere, or a review summary misrepresents what a customer actually wrote. We re-check the sources and regenerate your listing. A dispute is not a request for a higher number or a different interpretation of the same reviews.

Removing your listing

We remove listings when a business is permanently closed, a duplicate listing exists in the directory, or the business sits outside the directory's scope. Our monthly verification cycle also catches permanently closed businesses and removes them automatically. A listing that is accurate, current, and in scope will not be removed, and we will explain why if you ask.

How long this takes

Every request is acknowledged within 5 business days. Confirmed removals are completed within 7 days. If we decline your request, we tell you the reason.
